duct tape!

Okay, so I just found out how to make duct tape hair bows online! I found it on fabulouslyfrugal.com Here's the steps!

What you need:
1. Scissors (or a pocket knife if you can't find scissors)
2. Duct tape
3. bobby pins (if you want to wear the bow)

Cut off a piece of duct tape around 7 inches.
Fold it in half so the colorful side is out.
Fold the duct tape longways accordion-style.
Pinch the piece of duct tape in the middle
rip off a piece of tape about half an inch wide and tape the middle of it.
Slide the bobby pin under the tape...
VOILA!

 (I used MUSTACHE DUCT TAPE! awesomeness)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME & MY  FRIENDS!
well, my birthday was on the 19th!!!!!! YAY!
my friends (they're triplets) turned 14!!!!! CROCHET!!!
Anyway, I just taught myself how to make Christmas tree ornaments and cat toys (basically yarn balls on string, but...)
When I started I was finger crocheting which is kinda easy.

CRAFTS!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago we tried this super fun craft called puffy paint.

We dabbed it onto cardboard and microwaved it.

When we took them out it was super puffy!

Anyway, we made tons of colors and mixed shades and all.

In the end a lot of us quit and the others stole colors from nearby trays :).

It was really fun.

I also got a paper fashion design book from Klutz- well, okay, it's Klutz from a thrift store.

HAPPY VERY LATE THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!
In honor of thanksgiving I'm posting about the types of art that I'm thank full for.
I'm only putting down  10 because I don't want to take too much of your time.
 here's the list of activities:

1. sketching
2. drawing in marker
3. painting
4. drawing with crayons
5. drawing in oil pastel.
6. drawing in chalk.
7. using rubber stamps.

SKETCHING

I really like sketching with my pencils.
I've found you can make nearly any shade by blending the colors.
If the dark green is too dark add some light yellow.
Anyway my tip of the day is for photographers.
A camera with auto focus is best for flowers & frogs because with of without macro they are so tiny the slightest gust of wind could ruin your picture entirely.

pencils,crayons,pens:what's the biggest difference?

Though pencils,crayons & pens all are good for art a large question remains:which is best?

Pencils are best for lines.

Crayons are best for filling in & pens are best for outlining.

you know over all each is as good as the last.

Edgar Allen Poe was a poet & a short story author.
His mother was an actress named Elizabeth Arnold Poe who died on December 8th 1811 when he was 2 years old.
Edgar Allen Poe was born on January 19th(my birthday) 1809.  He died on October 7th 1849  when he was 40 .
He wrote famous poems like "The Raven" & "Annabelle Lee".
The cause of his death is unknown.
